Chipping Norton History Museum has a wide display of curios and artefacts which explain the formation and development of the town over the years.
The museum plays a major cultural role in tracing the history of the town.
Bliss Tweed Mill, built during the textile boom that once too place in the town, can be seen on approaching the town from the west.
St. Mary’s Church the Parish Church houses some well preserved tombs and brasses.
Rollright Stones is a Neolithic stone circle which is almost three thousand five hundred years old and is situated on private ground which is maintained by a trust.
These are said to be remnants of a burial chamber and the seventy stones in the circle are said to change in number each time you try to count them.
For those interested in golf the Lyneham golf club and the Chipping Norton golf club are in close proximity to the town.
