The Booth Museum was created by the Victorian ornithologist Edward Booth in 1874 to store his collection British birds. A wide range of events take place at the Booth museum. On holidays activities for children are organized. The museum also has many shops that sell books, postcards, stationary etc. Regular exhibitions are held here for attracting maximum crowds. There is a very large library that contains substantial data and books about Sussex’s natural history. The museum also operates a loan service for the people.
