Tourist guide Dover

Dover, capital of Delaware, in Kent, important commercial hub in U.K., is not only famous for its white cliffs, but for its astonishing castle, too, whose origin dates back to the far anglo – saxon period: inside are to be noted traces of both norman and gothic architecture!

With an area of over 35 square miles, it produces an impressive impact on anyone’s eyes with its emotional cliffs, nice beaches and architectures, not to forget its street gas illumination at night!!

The city, on the south east coast of England, bathed by the Dour, a river of celtic origin, is not only wordly known for the notorious white cliffs, but for its glorious historical past, literary background, and victorian reminescences, whose evidences are still alive in the whole area!
The great variety of café, bistrots, pubs, fast foods and american steakhouses, french & italian restaurants, pizzerias, along with asian, indian, mexican restaurants, provide a wide choice of opportunities, when deciding where to go and enjoy a meal!

In Dover many are the pubs with antique traditions, too!

Located in a rather flat area the city enjoys a moderate climate with summers characterized by the alternation of warm and hot days and the succession of humid periods and a gentle breeze at night. Temperatures in Dover vary from 2°C to 21°C
