Osborne House is the former residence of the royal family of England. This is a magnificent structure that dates back to 1845.

Prince Albert and Queen Victoria bought the original Osborne House in 1844. Then the new Osborne House was constructed in 1845. This house was built in an Italian Renaissance style of architecture. The new house has two imitation bell and clock tower: one of them was added in 1851. Queen and the Prince used to stay in this house to relax from the stresses of court life.

Visitors can look at enchanting interiors which were designed by architectures and designers from various parts of the world. The Durbar Room is decorated in a lavish Indian Maharaja Style. The house has royal, yet cosy bedrooms, bathrooms and even nursery rooms.

The Swiss Cottage is a recreational place for children. This cottage was a gift from the Queen to her children. Visitors can enjoy horse rides around Osborne House. Tourists can experience a royal lifestyle here.
