Dinosaur Isle is an exclusive dinosaur museum situated on the Isle of Wight.
The museum itself bares the shape of the pterodactyl, an ancient flying reptile. This brilliant design was conceived by the architecture from the Isle of Wight, Rainey Petrie Johns.
The museum holds the largest collection of real and artificial fossils and figures of various dinosaurs and other ancient creatures. Most of the fossils were found on the isle itself, while the remaining were brought from nearby places. Some of the fossils were discovered in 1819. Those and some of the later discovered fossils are well restored in this museum.
This is the best place to learn about the ancient structure of the earth. The information in the museum is set in such a way that, even children can understand it. Special educational programs are arranged to educate visitors about dinosaurs.
This museum is an important information centre for one of the greatest creatures on Earth.
