Marwood Hill Gardens are 18 acres of landscaped gardens with a huge collection of alpine trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants.
This botanic garden was built by Dr Smart in 1950 and now includes new features such as the Scented Arbour and the Folly.
The garden has the largest collections of Camellias in the country and its Astilbe collection is the largest in the world.
North Devon Farm Park is an outstanding park with a rare breeding centre which has existed for over sixteen years. This old farm park built in 1470 has more than fifty acres of well kept countryside and nature walks along with rivers, lakes, lime kilns, badger sets, a number of animals to feed and more.
Elliott Art Gallery has one of the largest collections of craftwork, paintings and sculptures in Devon. The paintings which cover a number of seascapes, landscapes and abstract work are available for sale as well.
There are other displays such as woodcarvings, glass engravings, dried flower collages, modelled porcelain, leatherwork, hand made clocks and more.
The gallery also hosts a number of exhibitions and workshops from time to time.
