The Town Bridge is the most famous tourist -spot and attraction in Bradford- on- Avon.
One can get a magnificent view of River Avon and surrounding area from the bridge. The bridge is at least 7 centuries old. It is the replacement for the ‘Broad ford’ across the river.
This bridge and the bridge in Bidford-on-Avon were built in the same period.
These two towns have got the name from the respective fords on the river.
The Abbey Mill is located on the Church Street in the village. This cloth mill stands here since 1875. Currently it serves as the complex of retirement flats.
Barton Bridge was built in 14th century by Shaftsbury Abbey. This bridge connects Barton Farm County Park to the rest of the village.
The Bradford- on- Avon Museum houses historical elements and other references in it. It is close to the Town Bridge.
The museum was built in 1863. The Tithe Barn dates back to the 14th century.
