Crawley is a town founding the western Sussex area of England. It is a local government for itself. It is situated at a short distance of 28 km from London and is nearer to Brighton as well as Hove. It is a large area covering 44.96 square kilometers and serves a population of 99,744 as per the 2001 Census. This town is consists of thirteen neighborhoods of residential type. All of these are separated by main roads and railway lines. No major water bodies are to be found near to this town but it contains a large number of smaller brooks and streams. There are several lakes at the Tilgate Park. Crawley has a temperature type of climate with a mean annual temperature being recorded up to 9.6 degrees. As compared to the rest of England, rainfall is considerably low. The winds are mild winds which are generally cool.
