Watergate Bay is a beach located two miles north of Newquay. This sandy beach is popular for water sports, kite flying and sand art. This beach is also popular for hosting the English Nationals Surfing Championship.The Watergate Bay Hotel and Fifteen Cornwall restaurant are located just above the beach and there are a number of caravan and camping sites within easy reach. Also the beach offers a bar, café, tennis courts and a children’s play area.
