This is one of the oldest railway tracks in Cornwall, opened in 1849. It provides a 2 mile return journey between Benny Halt and East Wheal Rose. At East Wheal Rose there are many activities and attractions that will entertain the whole family ranging from crazy golf to slides and swings and a children’s Woodland Railway. In the unique historic setting of the Lappa Valley there are loads of things to do and discover. There are three separate miniature railways running through the oasis of conservation, where wildlife thrives in a protected environment.
