Woodbury is a large village which lies 7 miles to the southeast of the city of Exeter in the English county of Devon.
It has a sparse population of about 816 people out of which more than fifty percent are males. At present it is the largest parish in Devon and much of the community thrives on agriculture and is religious.
One can enjoy the outstanding beauty of the place and its churches and chapels. The region has a temperate climate that is dry and warm. The mild climate has an average temperature of 25 degrees in the summer which is why Devon is visited by many tourists all throughout the year.
The community of the place had a population of about 1933 people in 1841. Being in the midst of a woodland and heathland the place is ideal for having picnics and taking long walks.
