The county town of Warwickshire County, Warwick is located in the region of West Midlands of England.
The town is situated on the banks of the River Avon. Coventry lies about 11 miles to the north of Warwick. Similarly, Leamington Spa is located only 2.5 miles to the east of this town.
As per the 2001 census, this town is the home to 25,434 people. Warwick town hosts a large number of festivals all round the year. The town centre possesses various historical monuments and structures. Hence, enormous numbers of tourists visit frequently.
The town of Warwick existed in the region since 914 AD. Since then the town has flourished and developed. The Grand Union Canal runs through Warwick.
Since the town is located in the West Midlands of England, it experiences a maritime tropical climate. Some parts of the city are under the influence of maritime polar climatic conditions. As a result, the city experiences warm and moist weather, but, sometimes it also experiences moist and cool weather.
