Coughton Court is one of the finest Tudor country houses in England and is a Grade I listed building. The Coughton estate has been the house of the Throckmorton family since the 15th century and even today the family lives here. There is a big Tudor gatehouse which was built around 1530 with the south and north wings and got completed 20 years later.
