The Curtis Museum is situated in Alton and is a local history museum in Hampshire in England. This museum was founded by Dr. William Curtis in 1865. It was managed by the Hampshire County Museum Service and is quite near the Allen Gallery. The museum provides some of the collections which explore 100 million years of history. This display includes prehistoric tools, Saxon burials, Roman pottery reconstruction and the Battle of Alton in 1643.
