Bromsgrove: Attractions and more...

Bromsgrove comprises of several old buildings. The best way to learn about the history and heritage of this town is to visit the Avoncroft Museum of Buildings. It is an open air architectural and industrial museum. The museum holds a National Telephone Kiosk collection as well. The museum was opened in the year 1967.

Tourists can enjoy leisure activities like coarse fishing and walking besides the Worcester and Birmingham Canal. One can even enjoy boating in this canal by hiring narrow boats.

Bromsgrove is just 5 miles away from Hanbury Hall. This historic hall is a country house situated in the Hanbury village. The house was built for a wealthy lawyer named Thomas Vernon in 1701. The complete structure is constructed in William and Mary style.

Though the village is a small place, the nightlife is quite vibrant. The nightclub named Euphoria is normally packed with young crowds. The DJs play all sorts of music like dance music to pop music. Recently the club has changed its name to Love2Love.

Other pubs and clubs in the Bromsgrove village are The Red Lion, The Slug and Luttuce, The Golden Cross Hotel and The Wishing Well.

Nature lovers can visit places like Lickey Hills, Waseley Hills and Clent Hills which are located near Bromsgrove.
