Bordesley Abbey
This is an abbey close to the town; its establishment has been ascribed to Queen Maud. It was once a significant neighboring religious centre; it also had a control over the township of Tardebigge. In today’s date you can see only the ruins, it is under survey archaeological site, under the University of Reading’s department.
Forge Mill Needle Museum
This is an historical museum, which depicts the story of Redditch’s Industrial Heritage, the making of needle in the Victorian age. The building of the museum is listed in the list which has houses with original water powered machineries. The museum was opened to public in 1983; it was inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II. The scouring mill which the visitors can have a look at, is the only one left, in the entire world.
Kingfisher Shopping Centre
It was opened by the prime minister in 1976 and is a major retail centre today. The centre’s Worcester Square has palm trees planted, and it has gained popularity for these trees. Another thing which attracts visitors, other than being a famous shopping centre is the mosaic panels. These panels are designed by a famous Scottish sculptor and artist named Sir Eduardo Paolozzi. It has almost 1, 100, 00 square feet of retail space.
