The Harvard House is located at high street in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire, England. The Harvard house is owned by the Shakespeare birthplace Trust and was built in 1596 by Thomas Rogers, grandfather of John Harvard, and was the home of Harvard’s mother. After the donation of this house to the SBT, the Harvard House became the museum of the British pewter collection in 1995. The Harvard house includes items ranging from Roman times to the 1930’s, but has a strong core of the 16th century.
