The Telford International Centre, which is a major conference venue, is also situated near the shopping centre.
Buildwas Abbey in Telford is another tourist attraction. This is an ancient Christian site situated in the south west of Telford and built in the year 1135.

Shallow Hayes is a two acre garden which has more than three thousand varieties of various plants including National collections of Russell Lupin Hybrids and Hamamelis.
The Ironbridge Gorge was built in 1779 and the area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site today.
