This castle is considered to be Britain’s most important mediaeval castle. This castle has excellent architecture. Technically, this is not termed a castle, but a rampart. The fortification of the castle started in the 10th century.
However, the construction of the castle was finished in 1264. This is one place in Warwick that every tourist must visit.
Nature lovers can visit Charlecote Park which is a magnificent area located in the midst of lush green landscapes. The park comprises of a variety of flowers, plants and trees. This park is maintained by the National Trust.
Oken's House is a well structured timber house, which was built in the 16th century. The owner of the house, Thomas Oken died in 1573, while he was staying in this house. Fusilier Museum is an ideal place to learn about the old regiments of Warwick. The institution was established in 1674.
