Liversedge is a group of small villages combined in the Kirklees, a metropolitan state of Yorkshire in England. This small settlement of villages lies between the towns Liversedge and Heckmondwicke and is barely fifteen miles away from the well renowned town of Leeds. The name of this town originated from Mr. Robert de Liversec who was famous as a nobleman for the Normans. The nearest water source to this town is the Spen Beck which was previously named as the Stink. The major villages that it contains are the Norristhorpe which sticks on one side of the Spen valley.
The other part of the valley contains Robert town which is an important location as considered by the locals of Liversedge. The village Millbridge forms the geographical centre of Liversedge. The industrial centre where the textile industry flourished i.e. the village of Flush is also a neighbor to Liversedge. There are two settlements that go by the name of Hightown and Smalltown which are some important settlements in the region.
