Captain Cook Birthplace Museum

This museum goes on to mark site of birthplace of Cook in ‘Marton’ on outskirts of the town. Moreover, it’s located in the gorgeous landscape of ‘Stewart Park’. The entrance is guided by ‘totem pole (from Canada guards); on the outer side of conventionally carved ‘Nootka’. Captain Cook Birthplace underwent transformation worth 1.2 million pounds in the year 1996. Fresh approach on its part with regards to presentations through films, computers, and ‘special effects’ would certainly give visitors a chance to rejoice.

Timings

This museum remains open from March to October from Tuesdays to Sundays between 10:00 and 17:30. And from November to February between 9:00 and 16:00 it remains closed on 1st of January, 25th and 26th o December, and Mondays.

Rosedene House can be referred to as a secluded, luxury farmhouse breakfast and bed accommodation with exceptional panoramic views and extensive gardens.
