This is a unique castle in the city built using only stones, in the year 1920. It is the most iconic castle in the North of England. Presently it is under the Castle Market. The best days to visit this castle are Thursdays and Saturdays due to free entry. The door is opened for visitors during the day time only.The markets provide free leaflets to educate people about the history of the castle and a color booklet which consists information about the artist’s impression on the layout.
