History enthusiasts can enjoy some of the fines castles and monuments when in Northern Ireland. The Dunclue Castle, located on the Antrim coast, is set on a crag that was shaped when the sea cut deep into the rock. The Dundrum castle, built in 1177, provides a scintillating view of the sea and the Mourne Mountains.
Northern Ireland is home to museums of varied interests such as maritime history and mythology to transport and trade. Some of the museums that can be visited are Tower Museum, Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, Ballymoney Museum and Armagh County Museum.
