The only surviving tower in the town is the Old Church Tower which was built in 1637. Another significant feature is the Town Clock built in 1866 and the Masonic Hall which was built in 1775. Ballymoney arts centre and museum is located in town Head Street. This is a place which tells the story of the local area and is a must place to see. Benvarden gardens which came into existence in 1630, is the oldest and most historic place of ballymoney. This garden is about 2 acres and has beautiful rose beds and a well stocked kitchen garden. Race 4real is one of the most exciting karting circuits, which is located in 53 ballybrakes business park road in Ballymoney. Joey Dunlop memorial garden was built in the memory of Joey Dunlop, the greatest ambassador for Ballymoney sports. The dark hedges are a group of trees which makes form an arc over the road which is more than 300 years old and is a must place to see. It is located near bregagh road, Strnocum, Ballymoney.
