Dungiven Castle
This castle happens to be the ancestral house of the O'Cahan who had ruled the region during the 12th and 17th century. The castle today is a restaurant and a guesthouse along with the famous song Danny Boy which was taken from melody that was composed by O’Cahan bard Rory Dall O’Cahan.
Banagher Old Church
Banagher Church is an impressive ruin dating back to the late 11th or early 12th century. Close to the church there is a tomb of St Muiredach O'Heney. Tourists can spend some time to enjoy the past collect some sand from the grave which is said to bring good luck.
