The Belfast Film Festival is the annual international film festival held in Northern Ireland, attracting participants from world over. Traditional events include the Oul’ Lamas Fair and the Ballyclare May Festival and Horse Fair.

One of the most popular events is the Belfast Festival. The festival covers all art forms including theatre, dance, classical music, literature, jazz, comedy, visual arts, folk and popular music, attracting over 50,000 visitors.

The newly constructed Waterfront Hall in Belfast along with other theatres like the Millennium Forum in Derry, Grand Opera House and Ulster Hall are the favourite entertainment venues of Northern Ireland. They are the site for major music, art, film and theatre events.
