In Northern Ireland in the United Kingdom, the County Tyrone has a county town called as Omagh. The meaning of Omagh is “the Sacred or Virgin Plain.” In Omagh, the rivers Camowen and Drumragh combine and form the Strule.

The estimated population of this town in the year 2008 was 22,182.

During the summer, the day temperature varies from 17 to 19 degrees Celsius and night temperature is from 9 to 12 degrees Celsius. In winter, the day temperature ranges from 7 to 10 degrees Celsius which falls to 3 to 5 degrees Celsius at night.
