Falkland Palace is located at a distance of 7 miles from Aberargie. In the past, this palace was the hunting lodge and country residence of eight Stuart monarchs, inclusive of the Mary, Queen of Scots. This palace was constructed between 1501 and 1541 and is a good illustration of Renaissance architecture. There is a majestic Chapel Royal encircled by internationally renowned gardens.
