Burns National Heritage Park was started in 1995 in the memory of Scotland’s most popular poets Robert Rabbie Burns. The park includes the Burns Museum, the ruined Kirk Alloway, the Statue House, and Brig O’Doon, Burn’s Cottage, Burns Memorial and the gardens. The museum has the original manuscripts of this famous poet along with his paintings and personal possessions. The Tam O’Shanter Experience is a venue with a restaurant which serves excellent meals, a gift shop and a children’s area.
