The Edinburgh to Bathgate Line is a railway line in East Central Scotland. As part of the Edinburgh cross city line it links the town of Bathgate in the west through Edinburgh to Newcraighall in the east. The Regal community Theatre Bathgate is a busy, well run arts centre, a hub of community art and activity in Bathgate and West Lothian. The Regal community Theatre provides a venue for a wide variety of community groups to meet, perform, rehearse and pursue a broad spectrum of activities. The scope of activities continues to increase, in order to attract people of all ages to use the facilities. The Regal community is formed to encourage participation in arts through the management and promotion of opportunities and to encourage one to take part in such activities as music, drama, cinema, exhibitions, educational courses and entertainment.
