Tourist guide Bridge of Allan

Bridge of Allan is a small town situated in the Stirling council area in Scotland. It is located in the northern part of Stirling. It lies on the banks of the Allan Water, a tributary of the River Forth. The administration formerly was under the control of the Central Regional Council.

The local people here are known as the Maeatae and the religion followed here is Christianity. Bridge of Allan is a very densely populated residential town with a population of about 4800. Hundreds of visitors often visit Bridge of Allan, to enjoy the sheltered climate. The climate here is often good with mild drizzles in afternoons and early evenings.

The town receives low to moderate rainfall in the month of September and October. The Bridge of Allan Spa received 1,000 gallons of mineral water daily in around 1820 that accommodated 30,000 visitors a year. It is thus a good place for agriculture because of the availability of water.
