Cambuslang in South Lanarkshire is a suburb on the south-eastern fringes of Glasgow, 6 miles east of the city centre, with a population of around 24,500. Cambuslang is situated on a lengthy crouch on the River Clyde, south-east of Glasgow. The town is approachable from the Glasgow city centre and Hamilton. The town's railway station, Cambuslang, is placed on the Argyle Line between North Glasgow and Lanark.
