Cambuslang Park covers 27 acres of land and includes the counterpoint of open park land and the Borgie Glen, which is an outrageous tree lined ravine, holding a composite network of pathways. There are sport pitches, woodland areas, a pond and the Bandstand, which is a natural amphitheater. Cambuslang has an interesting range of Public Buildings, Churches, Industrial sites, Schools and Commercial buildings. There has been a Parish school in Cambuslang at least since the Reformation. Its local buildings range from sheltered nursing homes to modern mansions, flats, villas and tenements to detached houses.
Cambuslang is an historic part of Scotland where Iron Age continues to loom over the 21st century housing growths. The Geography of Cambuslang explains a big deal of its history. It has been very booming over time, owing to its agricultural land, then the mineral resources under its soil.
