Tourist guide Dunblane

Dunblane is a small cathedral town situated in the north of Stirling in the Stirling council area of Scotland. The main landmark in this town is the Dublane Cathedral and the Allan Water that runs through the town centre. According to the 2001 census the population was found to be around 7900. But the population was recorded to be around 9000 in the 2006 census which is a fair increase. The presence of Dunblane Cathedral in the town fairly indicates the religion followed here is mainly Christianity. According to the European Census Bureau, the town is supposed to have a total area of about 17.1 square miles, out of which 17.0 square miles is land and the remaining 0.1 square miles is under water. Maximum portion of the land is suitable for crop cultivation. Dunblane has four primary schools and one secondary school which is the place where students from small nearby villages can gain education. The climate here is often cool with an average temperature ranging between 18 to 22 degrees.
