The modes of transport in Edinburgh can be many. It is your choice how you want to travel either by planes, trains, bus, car, rail or boat. There are two airports in the city. If you are going to travel by railways and within the limits of Edinburgh and Glasgow you shall be using the First Scott Rail. You can also avail the tram service if you like to move around in the city. Edinburgh has double Decker buses that are fun sitting in. These buses travel through out the city and are affordable. Tourist wanting to enjoy a slow and healthy vacation can avail the cycle service and thus move around the city. Besides the fact that the city has a port, there are no passenger ships sailing done here. Only the ships on route to Scotland come here.
