Forres: Monuments and Historic Buildings

Brodie Castle is located about 4 miles from Forres. This is a sixteenth century tower house set amidst peaceful parkland. Here, one can see a major collection of paintings like early 20th century works, Scottish Colourists, 19th century English watercolors and 17th century Dutch art. There is also continental and Chinese porcelain and fine French furniture. A magnificent library is made up of about 6,000 volumes.
