Castle House Museum
Castle House Museum had been opened in the year 1998. It’s amongst the most historic places located adjoining Greenock. The objective behind construction of The Castle Museum is to stimulate ‘interest’ with regards to history, tradition, and lore of Cowal. The idea of setting up the museum had come in to the minds of late ‘Arthur Allan’. At present, it’s being operated by a ‘registered Charity’ and a ‘Trust’. From this monument, one can get an excellent picture of ‘Firth of Cycle’. Tennis and putting are available as well.
Car parking has been made available absolutely free-of-cost. Many good restaurants are located nearby.
Timings
Castle House Museum remains open from Mondays to Saturdays between 1030 and 1630 hrs (Easter-October). On Sundays, it remains open between 1400 and 1630 hrs.
