St Andrews Castle is a picturesque ruin which is situated in the coastal side of Royal Burgh of St Andrews. This beautiful castle sits on a rocky peninsula and overlooks a small beach, Castle Sands and the adjacent North Sea. The Castle grounds are maintained by Historic Scotland and can be entered through a visitor center with displays on its past history.
