Pulteneytown had developed along southern side of ‘River Wick’ in the nineteenth century by British Fisheries Socirty. Merging in to Wick on the official basis took place in the year 1902. ‘Wick Harbor’ lies on river’s Pulteneytown side.
Wick Bay can be referred to as ‘North Sea’ water between points of North Head and South Head along eastern coast of Caithness and Britain in Scotland’s Highland Area.
