Visitors can enjoy a scenic journey atop the Vale of Rheidol Railway, which takes them from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge. They can also walk through the woodlands and serene waterfalls after getting off at Devil’s Bridge. The abundant wildlife and nature trails make the journey an exciting affair.

The Hafod Uchtryd is a lush estate built in the eighteenth century; it consists of a picturesque landscape of gardens, nature trails and walks. Some of the popular walks include the Bedford Monument Walk, the Lady’s Walk, the Gentleman’s Walk and more.

A huge storehouse of books and manuscripts showcasing the literature of the region is the National Library of Wales. Apart from the two million books and thousands of manuscripts, it also holds exhibitions displaying its treasures.

The beautiful road along the Mynach River is a breath-taking sight with a series of magnificent waterfalls. Also, the three bridges built in this area are worth a visit.
