Cardigan is the home of one of the most important and respected churches in Wales. The Shrine to our Lady is the premier church of the Catholic people settled here. This is a marvelous architectural structure with a perfect religious ambience. It once possessed the rare statue of Mother Mary with the candle whose flame, which was believed, never extinguished.
