Pontypool Museum
Pontypool Museum goes on to house a set of ‘local artifacts’ with an amazing display of ‘Japanware’, that had been made in town right from mid-18th century. ‘Barker Gallery’ present in museum has started gaining importance owing to its exhibitions pertaining to fine art, ceramic and sculptural displays; and petite ‘Café Art’ region. This area can be described as one of the regular slots to ‘sell’ exhibitions; as far as local artists are concerned. Dobell-Moseley Library and Archive has been made available to carry out research in to the region and its people. The other facilities are inclusive of room hire to facilitate training sessions/conference and ‘community group use’, combined with workshops for adult learning and schools.
