Llangrannog is a fairly small coastal village and also a famous seaside resort located in Ceredigion, South Wales. It is situated about eleven kilometers to the south of New Quay. In the year 2001 according to the United Kingdom Census the population of Llangrannog was found to be just 772 people. The census also shows that 52% of the village population speaks Welsh very fluently. Also majority of the speakers or residents here belong to the 15-19 age groups. Almost 100 % of the people here are used to speaking the Welsh language and thus it is the commonly used language here. The village is commonly known as the church village which clarifies the fact about the religion followed here which is Christianity. The geographical area of the village is very small which can be noticed from the low population over here. The climate here is nice and it also suffers from moderate to high rainfalls in the month of August and September.
