Beechwood Park
This park comprising of 22 acres goes on to stand on rising ground towards the eastern side of a river. ‘Beechwood House’ is its major tourist attraction. In the year 1900, it got opened for public. Various facilities are inclusive of paddling pool, 2 children’s play areas, tennis courts, and many more things. In the year 2006, some renovation took place; resulting in conversion of this Beechwood House in to ‘Beechwood House Entrepreneurship Center’.
Riverfront Arts Center
Riverfront Arts Center is the newest theatre as well as arts center in Newport. It can house an audience of 493. A combination of dance, drama, music, opera, and comedy is presented over here. Workshops and art classes are also held. For example, life-drawing and ceramics. Art gallery showcases works by local artists.
