The Grand Theater started in the year 1897 and was built by D. Jenkins. The theatre lies on Singleton Street at West Glamorgan in Swansea. The theater has been refurbished from 1983 to 1987 at a cost of 6.5 million pounds. It is a performing arts center which hosts several touring theatrical acts, plays, pantomimes and operas. On the last Wednesday of each month some of the best comedy acts are displayed at the Depot studio in Grand Theater.
