Due to its recognition as a World Heritage Site, Kiev is hugely popular. One can learn more about the city by visiting various museums here. These are categorized as art museums, historical museums and wax figure museums. There are at least a dozen museums located in the city.
The National Art Museum of Ukraine was founded around 100 years ago. The museum was then called the ‘City Museum of antiques and Art’. One can view examples of ethnographical art in this museum.
This is the most prestigious museum in the history of Ukraine.
