Tourist Guide Aldridge
The town of Aldridge is situated in the Metropolitan region of Walsall in the state of West Midlands of UK. Till the year 1974 it was the county of Staffordshire. In the books of Domesday, Aldridge settlement was recorded in the year 1086. It is the largest settlement of Walsall at present with a population of more than 16,862 which was calculated in 2001. Well known from the late 1800s, the town is known as an Industrial city with kilns of lime and mines of coal which encouraged brickworks and collieries.
Today, Aldridge is well known for its wealthy area such as up market private homes and is also been recognized as one of the nice suburban region. Aldridge is governed under two wards of council the town is also famous for its peoples like the actor Richard Sinnott the town has also given birth to footballers and Olympic swimmers.
