The Gilbert White House has some amazing displays like a chair which Gilbert used at Oriel, some of his contemporary furniture and family portraits too. There are also displays of bed hangings embroidered by his aunts. On the other hand, the Oates museum exhibit focuses on the lives and adventures of Captain Lawrence Oates and his uncle Frank. The gallery explains the life and the tragic death of the soldier and the explorer.
