Arnold includes one of the oldest churches in the UK, known as the St Mary’s Church. It is a pretty and beautiful church. The church comprises of 6 bells. It is very popular for having always a long waiting list for weddings held at the church.
There is an ancient monument called the Cockpit Hill at Ramsdale Park which are the earth works of a large encampment with a double defensive bank and ditch on a defensive hill top location. There are other old buildings and Public Houses in this town which should be visited like the Arnold House, 34 High Street, Bonington House, Day Brook Almshouses, Cockcliffe House and the Ramsdale House. People in Arnold have a lot of interest in sports such as football, rugby, volleyball and basketball. There are many Leisure Centers where in people play and enjoy like the Redhill Leisure Centre situated close to Arnold’s town Centre.
