Castle Combe, situated in a valley, is said to be the prettiest village in England. It is thus the most popular venue with several film producers. Doctor Dolittle is one such film which is said to have been shot here in the Dower House. Castle Combe was once a center for cloth weaving and one can come to see the Weavers House and the Weavers cottages situated near the bridge. One can view a 14th century market and honey colored stone houses as well.
